Children with exceptional needs requiring special placement services will be included in the educational programs of a school, if their needs can be adequately met with reasonable accommodations.

St. Mary School provides reasonable adjustments to the curriculum. Once a student’s needs are professionally assessed, a Modified curriculum Plan may be written and presented to the child’s parents. If accepted, the plan then is documented in the child’s file and is reviewed quarterly. Action to develop such a plan may be initiated by either the parent or the teacher.
