Registration

Any family who is interested in enrolling at St. Mary for 2022-23 should call the school office at 859-635-9539 for more information.  Currently, the school is conducting pre-registration for in-parish families interested in preschool or kindergarten for next year.

In January, we will announce the status of registration for the general public.  It is possible that Preschool 3 and Preschool 4 could fill up before registration becomes public.  If spots are available, we will publish a process for applying for those openings.

Instead of a traditional "Open House," we will conduct a series of tour days/evenings for families who have pre-registered.  These events will take place in late January and February.

If you are interested in registering for 2022-23, please call the school office at 859-635-9539.  This will allow us to give you updated information about the status of enrollment/admissions.  We may be able to schedule you for a tour at that time as well.

Please see/download our Admissions Policy below for more information.

Thinking About St. Mary?

St. Mary School seeks to teach students about the Gospel, foster their personal relationship with Christ and instill the desire to serve God. The lessons Jesus taught are woven into the pursuit of academic knowledge, reflecting the Christian values our Church upholds.

Our Vision
St. Mary School upholds the Gospel of Jesus Christ as the standard for its teachers and students. In collaboration with the parish and home, we challenge all students with the possibility of becoming all that God has created them to be while encouraging them to a lifetime of sharing their unique gifts.

Beyond the Basics
For almost 150 years, St. Mary School has welcomed students to an exciting educational program full of opportunities for academic and spiritual growth. Our school exceeds Kentucky state requirements for curriculum and test scores. Beyond the basics of reading, writing, and arithmetic, we expand your child’s horizons by providing:

  • Character formation and spiritual growth through immersion in Catholic values and community service
  • A qualified teaching staff with many years of experience and advanced degrees
  • A standard of academic excellence, evidenced by test scores
  • A commitment to the arts that produces award winners annually
  • The latest technological tools for learning
  • Development of healthy bodies through physical education and a variety of sports programs
  • Excellent preparation for success beyond St. Mary School

A Campus Like No Other
St. Mary School is situated on more than 50 acres of beautiful land. St. Mary Catholic church and an additional gymnasium are just a short walk from the school. Students take advantage of the soccer and baseball fields, open green space, and large areas for playing. A safe environment for the entire St. Mary School community is a priority. The use of security equipment and our location off the main road help to facilitate our goals.

Opportunities to Excel
In keeping with the vision of St. Mary School, we provide many opportunities for our students to become all that God has created them to be. Every student is encouraged to find ways to share their gifts through our extracurricular activities.
