School Plans for 2022-2023:
St. Mary School will begin the school year on Wednesday, August 15, 2022. This school year, the Diocese is forgoing virtual instruction when students are absent/quarantined. We are returning to work being sent home (or posted via an online platform such as Google Classroom or SeeSaw). If a prolonged absence due to severe sickness occurs, please contact the school office so we can evaluate the best course of action for your child going forward.

Mrs. Geiman has served with distinction at Blessed Sacrament School in Ft. Mitchell for the past 15 years, including the past 4 years as assistant principal. Mrs. Geiman has earned a Rank I in Educational Administration from Xavier University and a Master's Degree in Elementary and Secondary Education from the University of Louisville. Mrs. Geiman and her husband, Kevin, are members of St. Mary Parish and their daughters, Evie and Amelia, attend St. Mary School. “I am very grateful to be given the opportunity to serve in the same community which has been an instrumental part of my faith and personal journey for many years. Stepping into the principal role will allow me to give back to Saint Mary Parish and School, both of which have provided my family and me with fellowship, formation, faith, and high-level education. I look forward to partnering with you to ensure our children and school continue to thrive!” Please join us in welcoming and congratulating Mrs. Geiman!

ST. MARY SCHOOL IS NAMED A BLUE RIBBON SCHOOL
U.S. Secretary of Education, John B. King, Jr., announced that St. Mary School in Alexandria, KY has been named a 2016 National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence. St. Mary was one of 279 public and 50 private schools to receive this honor in 2016. Private schools are nominated for the award by the Council for American Private Education based on standardized test scores and a comprehensive application and review process.
