St. Mary's Festival 8/7-8
If you are reading this, there is a good chance that you have heard God calling you—or perhaps you've experienced a gentle tug at your heart—that has led you to consider becoming a member of the Catholic Church. If so, we are delighted that you are here.
Those who wish to learn more about the Catholic faith participate in a process called the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA). Through OCIA, participants deepen their relationship with God, explore the teachings and traditions of the Catholic Church, become acquainted with the parish family of St. Mary's, and discover opportunities to live out their faith through prayer, worship, and service.
Our OCIA program typically begins in late August and continues through the Easter season, culminating in the celebration of the Sacraments of Initiation at the Easter Vigil. Registration takes place during the summer months (please see the weekly parish bulletin for announcements).
If you are interested in learning more at any time during the year, we would be happy to meet with you, answer your questions, and help you discern where God may be leading you.
We invite you to browse our Frequently Asked Questions page. If you would like more information or are ready to begin your journey, please contact Deacon Tim Britt at deacontimbritt@gmail.com.
We look forward to walking with you as you discover the beauty and joy of the Catholic faith.
