opportunities to serve

Our parish serves those in need through a variety of ministries:

• St. Vincent de Paul group provides food and other basic needs. Those in need should call 859-341-3219. 
• Faith in Action ministry supports various organizations that help others throughout the year through their monthly collections. Information about the current collection is listed in the bulletin. The group also collects home-baked and store bought cookies the first weekend of the month for the guests at Henry Hosea House. 
• The Pro-Life group organizes and/or supports efforts to help protect the sanctity of life. Information about the group's activities are shared on the parish Facebook page and in the bulletin. 

Servers, Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers and Ushers are needed to help with our weekend Masses. If you'd like to help, please click on the button below.

Parents:  Deacon Tim spoke to all the St. Mary’s school and WERE children - 4th, 5th and 6th grades - about becoming Altar Servers. If you are the parent or guardian of one of these children, you should’ve received an email about this along with an application form and contract. He hopes that these emails and his talk with your children sparked some conversations about you and them becoming involved in this important and rewarding ministry.  Any with questions or comments about the ministry of Altar Server may email Deacon Tim at deacontimbritt@gmail.com.  He is looking forward to beginning training soon, so please return applications to school, WERE or the parish office.  Missed the application? Email Deacon Tim directly to register for the ministry and set up training.
